Brothers and Sisters in Arms is a nationwide movement established to protect Israel’s democratic and Jewish values. This mission is now more urgent than ever due to the ongoing attempts to overhaul the judicial system, Israel’s primary custodian of human rights. Their delegation will discuss how the movement pivoted after October 7 to defending the country from an external threat, and how they are returning to their original focus of safeguarding Israel’s democracy for generations to come.
Itay Galon is one of the founding members of Brothers and Sisters in Arms and has played a pivotal role in shaping the organization's strategy and creative content.
Omer Granit is the U.S. representative for Brothers and Sisters in Arms, helping the leadership of the organization coordinate activities outside of Israel, including fundraising and advocacy.
Liat Weiss Shahar heads the External Relations Division of Brothers and Sisters in Arms.
