At a time when the divisions in Israel are greater than ever and Jews and Arabs live in separation, fear, and violence, Hand in Hand is on a mission to change the narrative. In this special session of Contemporary Jewish Thought, join Rabbi Zuckerman in dialogue with two leaders from Hand in Hand, an organization which works towards transforming Arab-Jewish relations in Israel through the power of shared living across Israel. Learn about how the power of dialogue and shared living, more important than ever, can break down barriers and impact communities for a more peaceful future.
Leah Beinhaker is Director of Resource Development at Hand in Hand. She joined Hand in Hand in 2020 to head its resource development department and brings to this role nearly two decades of professional experience, having headed the resource development efforts of three other leading Israeli nonprofits.
Mohamad Marzouk is the Director of Growth Initiatives at Hand in hand. He is a prominent thought leader in the area of Jewish-Palestinian relations and shared society. Mohamad has led the establishment of major projects, including the founding of Hand in Hand’s school in the town of Kafr Qara and the launch of Hand in Hand's Communities Department.
