Peeling back the untold history of dementia, Dr. Tia Powell shares the story of Solomon Fuller, a black doctor whose research at the turn of the 20th century presaged important elements of contemporary dementia research, in her book, Dementia Reimagined. Dr. Powell will help us demystify dementia from the perspectives of physician and caregiver, and share stories about how we can center dignity and hope at the heart of this disease.
