Even in anguished times, every Jewish holiday is made more special by music. We hope you enjoy the premiere of this duet, which took place on April 20, 2024, at Park Avenue Synagogue.
Commissioned by the PAS Music Center, this song was recently written by Julie Benko and Jason Yeager. It is based on the story of Nakhshon, the person who initiated the passage through the Red Sea by walking in head-deep until the sea parted. May we all be inspired to have faith and courage to take a step forward, especially when facing the difficult unknown. Wishing you a sweet and peaceful Passover!
Lyrics and music by Julie Benko and Jason Yeager, commissioned by PAS Music Center
