Elul, the final month of the Jewish year and the month that precedes the High Holidays, began this week. This recently commissioned setting of “Sh’ma Koleinu" renews the ancient text and symbolizes our hope that the remainder of the summer and the Jewish New Year bring opportunities for reflection.
