In the Avodah service on Yom Kippur, we reenact the Kohen Gadol’s entry into the holiest part of the Temple. This piyyut tells that story in poetic language, using beautiful imagery to describe his radiant, joyful face. G’mar Hatimah Tovah – may you be inscribed in the Book of Life!
