We welcomed guest speaker Jonathan Ornstein, Executive Director of the JCC of Krakow, who spoke about how the JCC in Krakow is actively responding to the crisis in Ukraine. Their efforts include providing shelter, distributing food and supplies, and serving as a hub of resources for those affected by the war.
Alisa “Tzipi” Zilbershtein is a senior rabbinical student at the Jewish Theological Seminary who has lived in Kyiv, Ukraine. During services, Zilbershtein shared how the current situation affects the Jewish communities there and how we can help.
