‘Nella Fantasia’: A Prayer on ‘Gabriel’s Oboe’
Song of the Week

4m 18s
The melody “Gabriel’s Oboe,” which we sang during High Holiday services this year, has been on our minds. Ennio Morricone’s iconic theme from the film The Mission is reimagined here with Hebrew and English lyrics. It’s a quiet prayer for peace, healing, and a world that’s just a little softer than the one we know. Wishing you a Shabbat shalom filled with light and hope.
Featuring: Cantors Azi Schwartz and Mira Davis

English lyrics: Hayley Westenra
Hebrew lyrics: Dr. Anat Keidar and Cantor Schwartz
