Rabbi Nachman of Bratslav (1772–1810) wrote using vivid imagery, and his most famous saying comes alive when set to music: “The whole world is a very narrow bridge, but the thing is to have no fear at all.” In fearful times, to be without fear is a challenge, but the rewards are great.
