Cantor Schwartz recently performed at Carnegie Hall in “Letters, Light and Love,” a benefit to rebuild Kibbutz Be’eri sponsored by UJA-Federation of New York. Dating from the early days of modern Israel, this “Mi Shebeirach” is a prayer for the safety and success of Israel’s defense forces and is especially important as we approach Yom HaZikaron and Yom Ha’atzmaut. Wishing you a Shabbat shalom.
Featuring Cantor Azi Schwartz
Words: Rabbi Shlomo Goren, ca. 1956
